TOW - Confrontation [Collab] — Description

Season: Autumn 2023
Location: Amber Grasslands, Volaires Territory

Prompt: ‘A leap of faith.’

Summary: With the mark of the Bourgeoisie painted upon her brow, Lady Caltha determinedly trekked through the Volairian territory. She stopped only to inquire on the King's whereabouts and was pointed in the direction of the grasslands. She scoured the prairie far and wide until she spotted the Monarch and his royal guard amongst the golden blades. Not wasting another moment, the young Baroness made her way over to King Thereus, rehearsing exactly what she had to say in her head.

One of the Volíel received her rather sternly but Caltha was too far in to hesitate now. Her limbs trembled but her voice spoke loud and clear, requesting to speak with the King. Her wish was granted and although she was still somewhat intimidated by the golden wolf, the Bourgeosie Mesana leapt right into the matter. In a few concise sentences, she brought up the instances of Countess Miluna's theft of medical research and herbal recipes. Additionally, the Baroness mentioned she had a couple of witnesses to back up her claims.

King Thereus listened with a furrowed brow, taking the matter seriously. Such accusations were no small thing and plans for a court case to determine the Countess's guilt or innocence were then set in motion.
